Contacts and Appointments
Keep track of your customers and get appointments on the calendar — so estimates and projects start with the right details already in place.
Find and Add Contacts
EstimateSync works with two kinds of contacts:
- Device contacts pull from your phone or tablet's address book (you'll need to grant device permission).
- App contacts live inside EstimateSync, saved under your active organization.
Search for any contact by name, or import a device contact directly into EstimateSync. Once a contact is an app contact, you can open its details, edit it, mark it read or unread, and delete it.
Use Contacts in Projects
Selecting a contact when you create a project fills in the customer's name, address, email, and phone automatically — no retyping required. If the contact only exists on your device, EstimateSync imports it as an app contact and links it to the project in one step.
You'll see the linked contact on both the project screen and the client-information screen, making it easy to jump between a project and its customer details.
Schedule Appointments
Appointments represent scheduled customer interactions. You can create three types — Estimate, Consult, and Production — and track each one through its lifecycle: Scheduled, Completed, Canceled, or No Show.
To schedule an appointment, start from an app contact. From there you can edit it, reschedule, cancel, mark it as a no-show, or turn it into a project.
Use Calendar Sync
Calendar Sync links EstimateSync to a writable calendar on your device. Once linked, EstimateSync shows your busy periods while you're picking an appointment time, so you avoid double-booking.
As appointments change — rescheduled, canceled, completed — EstimateSync automatically creates, updates, or removes the matching event on your device calendar.
Start a Project from an Appointment
When an appointment turns into real estimate work, tap Start Project. EstimateSync creates a new project from the appointment details, marks the appointment as completed, stores the link between the two, and opens the project editor so you can get started right away.
