Roles and Permissions
EstimateSync team access uses three roles: Owner, Admin, and Member.
| Role | Summary |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full organization control, including team access workflows and ownership transfer. |
| Admin | Elevated team-management access — can invite teammates and manage eligible members. |
| Member | Standard team participation without owner-level controls. |
Owners must transfer ownership before leaving a team that still has other active members. Admins can't transfer ownership. Members belong to the team and use shared work according to the product areas available to them.
Permissions differ by workflow. When a guide describes a specific action, follow that guide for the role requirement.
